La Liga-tipp: Elche – Real Madrid (2026. szeptember 15.)

Elche’s recent results make the first half particularly important for this selection. 

They have lost their last three league matches, going down 5-0 against Barcelona, 3-2 against Racing Santander and 3-2 against Real Sociedad.

More importantly, they were already behind at half-time in all three. 

Barcelona led 1-0 at the break, Racing built a 3-0 advantage before half-time, and Real Sociedad went into the dressing room 2-0 ahead at Martínez Valero.

Elche did respond after the break against both Racing and Real Sociedad, but repeatedly giving opponents an early advantage is a serious concern before facing one of the strongest squads in the league.

Real Madrid have won four of their last five matches in all competitions, with the only setback coming in a 1-0 defeat at Betis.

Their latest Champions League match against Inter was another example of how quickly they can impose themselves. Real were already 2-0 up after 23 minutes before eventually winning 2-1.

The same happened against Málaga, when goals in the 19th, 26th and 30th minutes effectively decided the match before half-time. 

They also struck after only nine minutes against Espanyol, even though that game was level again by the break.

The straight Real Madrid win is priced very short, so the HT/FT market offers a more interesting way to back the favourites.

Elche have fallen behind before half-time in each of their last three league defeats, while Real Madrid have already produced several fast starts this season. 

Against a defence that has struggled to contain opponents early, Madrid should have enough quality to establish control before the break and finish the job afterwards.

Real Madrid HT/FT at 1.78 looks like a strong option for this La Liga matchup.
