Manchester City might be the favorites here. However, the majority of their starting lineup is resting after the World Cup. It would be difficult to imagine them winning this game. 

Borussia has began their preparations a bit earlier. So it is highly likely that they will be in a better shape.

Given that this is a friendly game, and that both teams will not go all out, Germans have the advantage.
