Edwards and Valanciunas scored 13 points each in Belgrade. Azuolas Tubelis added 10 points and 12 rebounds. The team also won all three domestic games by double digits.

Zalgiris lost nine games in a row to Olympiacos before their last win. That 99 to 94 result came when the Greeks played without Vezenkov and Milutinov. Vezenkov is back this time, and that changes the game.

Nikola Milutinov will miss the double week with tendinitis. Coach Giorgos Bartzokas admits that hurts against Valanciunas. He says speed is the answer, and his team scores fast.

Zalgiris also lose their starting point guard. Edwards will face more pressure, and the Greek defense can squeeze him. Zalgiris will badly miss a playmaker like Williams-Goss, and they will not survive with Lo and Giedraitis as their point guards.
