Four games, four wins, one goal conceded. That is the Roma line going into this one, and it is the reason to take them with a quarter goal cushion rather than backing the straight home win at a bigger number. The Olimpico has been a fortress for a while now, with fourteen league matches there unbeaten and eleven of those won, and Inter walk into that atmosphere off a pair of games they had to rescue from two goals down, first against Udinese and then against Napoli. Nobody is pretending this is a quiet night for the home defence. Inter have scored thirteen already and they are the most productive attack in the division, which is exactly why the straight win is priced where it is. The value sits in the safety net. A draw returns half the stake, and a draw looks very live between two sides who have both started perfectly and will not want to be the first to blink in a top of the table meeting this early. Roma squeeze play high and turn the ball over in dangerous areas, the same pattern that has left Inter chasing games in their last two outings. If the visitors tidy that up they are good enough to win here, but the cushion makes the price fair.
