Arsenal did not have a lot of success in their first two games. However, they were up against really tough opponents. This time, they will travel back home and play a London derby against West Ham, who were not that great in their openers too. 

This should be the game where Arsenal picks their first three points. Also, there should be a few goals in the game. A result like 2:1 in favor of Arsenal is very likely.

Instead of betting on the winner, I have decided to go for a number of goals. City is likely to win this game, even though they are playing at home. Wolverhampton should also score a goal, but these days, nobody can stop Manchester City attacking machine. 

There should be more than a few goals this game. 

So far, both teams have looked promising in the Championship. They have 7 points each and will look to get a better standing after today's game.

Aston Villa are at home so they are somewhat more favored to win. However, Brentford have scored in their last three matches and will look to get something from this game as well.

We can expect to see a few goals, and each side should score at least once. 
 

A lot of people believe that the Swiss team has the upper hand for this tie. I have a different opinion and give both teams a 50/50 chance of qualifying to the next round.

The first game will be at home for Young Boys, so they will have to take an opportunity and try to get a lead as big as possible if they want to increase their chances of advancing.

Zagreb also has plenty of threat on the attack, so they will look to get a goal on the away game. 

Ajax has proven time and time again that they deserve to play in the main competition this season. This game will be a final stand before they can achieve the goal.

Given that the Dutch side is playing at home, it is safe to assume that they will win this game, and get a lead that should be comfortable enough to see them to the next round. 

Tendencies so far have shown that whenever there are two teams of similar caliber are playing, home side looks more likely to win. This match between Derby and Ipswich is no exception.

Both teams have been struggling in the competition so far. It will be a good chance to get some vital points for Derby who tend to finish somewhere in the middle of the table every season. 

Even though Salzburg is playing away, they are the favorites for this match and the tie. After their great run in the Europa League last season, playing in the Champions League this year would be a great achievement. Crvena Zvezda did not have a lot of tough opponents in their run. This time around, however, they will be playing against an entirely different kind of a team.

Given that the first game is in Serbia, we can expect for the home side to score too. But whether they can win or get a draw is difficult to answer. 

Benfica is one of those teams which has been participating in the main tournament for many years. Since they are playing at home against a lesser opponent, we can definitely expect to see the Portuguese side to win this game.

The favorite for this tie is obvious, though it might be a difficult game in Greece. Benfica should try to settle things in the first match. 

Both teams like to play an attacking style of football. We can definitely expect to see quite a few goals this game. Liverpool looks unstoppable while attacking and are bound to score in all of their games. Not to mention the fact that once they do, they do not stop and go for even more goals.

Crystal Palace will also look to make use of their attacking options, and should be able to get at least one or two goals this game. 

Overall, it is a big possibility that we will see 4 goals, or even more. 

Looking at the results of the first games, it would be safe to assume that both Crystal Palace and Liverpool have enough threat on the front. One would argue that Liverpool has the best attacking trio in the league. However, their defense tends to be a bit shaky at times, and they are playing away this time, which increases chances of conceding a goal.

Crystal Palace has Zaha who always creates something. And other options too. Both teams have to score this game. 

In this Championship game, both teams are in the middle of the table. The competition has just begun, but the leaders and weaker teams are already showing. Brentford are at home, so they should win the game. However, we can definitely expect to see some goals this game, and it would be safe to assume that both teams will score. 

City will be playing at home and are up against a relatively weak opposition. Huddersfield struggled against Chelsea at home, and this time they are against a stronger opponent.

Manchester club tends to crush their weaker opponents while playing at home, and this game should not be an exception. We can definitely expect a comfortable win for the home side with plenty of goals. 

Manchester United are playing away this time. They have managed to win their first game against Leicester but conceded a really weird goal at the end of the game.

This game around, Brighton will try to break the defense. Mourinho tends to focus on defense in away matches. Brighton lacks threats up front, so we can expect clean sheet for Manchester United. Plus, they have De Gea in goal, and he is the best keeper in the world. 

A lot of people predict Chelsea to win this game, and rightfully so. However, since Arsenal has not managed a single goal in their opener against City, it would be rather silly for them to be goalless two games in a row.

Chelsea will go for the win, so that front is covered. Arsenal should get some chances too, and they should be able to convert at least one of them. An early goal, which is a big possibility, in my opinion, could really open this game. 

Aston Villa continues to have a great run in the Championship. This time they will have an away game against a relatively weak opposition. Ipswich has been struggling quite a bit and will have problems dealing against Villa.


Just by looking at the table you can expect for the away team to get all three points. Victory for Aston Villa and a better situation in the competition is what I predict. 

The first game for Tottenham was against Newcastle away. They have managed to defeat the opposition rather convincingly, despite what the scoreline might suggest.

This time around, they will be playing at home against a newly promoted side. Fulham are no pushovers, but they still lack the quality. While they did have a decent transfer window, the new players still need more time to gel and start playing like a real team.

We can definitely expect a few goals this game, and a home team to win the game. 

Arsenal, while playing at home, looked rather hopeless against City, who did not even have their full squad yet.

This time, the Gunners will be playing away, against another tough opponent. Quite a few people doubted Chelsea, but their first away game ended in a very convincing win.

Even if Chelsea were playing at the Emirates, I would give them an edge. They should not have that much trouble winning this game. 

After picking their first win of the season, Manchester United set to continue winning. 

The football they have shown against Leicester was not that convincing. However, it was the first game in the league and Leicester is a tough opponent for everyone. Playing Brighton away will not be easier, but the win should happen nonetheless. 

Surprisingly, the first game ended 0:0 even though a lot of people expected for quite a few goals.

Burnley have not reached their peak form quite yet, but they have had one game in the Premier League already. Away at Southampton. 

This time around, they are playing at home. In their last two games, they did not manage to score a single goal. So it has to be today that they will finally get things rolling and get past the Turkish opposition. 

There are a lot of people who are extremely disappointed with Lithuanian football. However, this year has been relatively great. We have Suduva and Zalgiris both going quite far.

For this game, Suduva has a one-goal advantage. However, fans still expect them to win this game and reach the next stage with confidence. They should not care about a previous result and try their best to show that they are a better team. 

The first game ended with a 2:2 draw. Given that APOEL played the first leg away and managed to secure two goals in an opponent's ground, we can definitely expect them to go for a win this game.

It will be easier to play at home with the fans behind the team. Moreover, Israelian sides tend to play much better at home than they do in away games. Therefore, it should be a win and advancement to the next stage for Nicosia club. 

Southampton did not manage to score against Burnley at home. This time, they are going away to a rather difficult opponent.

Despite being one man down for the entire second half, Everton has managed to get a draw against Wolves, playing away. We can definitely expect the Liverpool club to win their first home game of the season. 

Leicester has shown quality in the first game against Manchester United. They will be playing at home this time around and will look for the first win of the campaign.

Wolves have drawn with Everton, though there was a red car involved that game. However, we can only expect them to improve with each matchday. 

My bet would be that we will see a few goals this game, and each side should score at least once. 

Here we have one of the worst teams of League 2 versus one of the best teams in the Championship.

Sure, you could argue that Yeovil are playing at home and it should give them an advantage. However, the difference between these two teams is too big. Aston Villa is looking like a team which will try to get in the Premier League next season. They should not have too many problems today. 

Given that QPR is playing at home, they should be able to win this game without too many problems. Peterborough is not that great of a team and does not have an experience like the London club.

Queens Park Rangers should make a decent run in the cup tournament this time around, despite the fact that they have been struggling in the Championship the last couple of games. 

Caraboa Cup will be starting with some ties between lesser teams of England. Norwich is without a doubt the favorite of these two. Moreover, they are playing at home.

Teams like Norwich tend to surprise everyone and make decent runs in these types of competitions. Their elimination will come down to when they will be facing a decent opponent. However, Stevenage should not be too much of a problem for them.

Nothing exceptional here. Dynamo should reach the next stage. They are playing at home against a relatively weak opponent. Yes, the first game ended 1:1, but that is because Slavia was playing at home, in front of the crowd behind them. This game will be different, and the Czechs will likely reach their journey's end here.
