Seeing Chile at this stage is not surprising, given how well they have been performing in the Copa America in recent years. Peru, on the other hand, is a bit more surprising.

We would never see such odds in favor of Chile if this was a friendly. However, given that the teams are playing in the semi-final, anything could potentially happen.

Nevertheless, Chile should still be the favorites and meet Brazil in the final. At this stage, team depth and experience play a crucial role. And when it comes to those, Chile has the advantage.

This side of the bracket has taken a turn that not a lot of football fans were expecting. In fact, some would argue that the Netherlands should not even be in the semis. Their upset against Italy was one of the biggest surprises of the competition.

Can the team build on this momentum and reach the final as well? Well, I am willing to believe that they will, and bookies seem to be thinking the same. 

Looking at the group, Cameroon is at the top with 4 points after two games. Benin has 2.

The final round will decide who goes through, and there are a lot of different scenarios that could play out in this one.

Cameroon looks like the best team in the group, and they will look to guarantee themselves a spot in the playoffs by winning this game. It is also worth pointing out that their side is much stronger on paper. It is not that surprising to see such heavy odds against Benin. Cameroon should be getting three points after the final whistle. 

Even though both teams have reached the semis, it would still not be a stretch to say that the USA has a much better chance. They are the favorites to win the whole thing, and the odds for this game show that they should be more than comfortable, reaching the final.

England has looked good in the competition as well, but when you compare how both teams have performed, the majority of fans would lean towards the US. 

Morocco got themselves 6 points and they are the only team in the group with a positive goal difference of 2.

South Africa has 3 points after two games, and the teams that qualify to the next stage are yet to be decided. However, Morocco has looked quite convincing so far in the competition, and I am willing to bet on them for this particular game.

A shaky run before the competition suggested that Morocco would not go far, but the team has picked up a good form when it matters. They should resume it against South Africa.

No matter which teams are playing in the matches, the majority of games ends with very few goals. Therefore, when you have teams like these two, it would not be a stretch to say that it will likely end up 0:0, or in a less likely scenario, a 1 goal to 0 win for either of them.

Since the odds are more or less the same for the winner, it is too difficult to predict who would come out on top. Therefore, I am going with a better option. At most, this game should end up with just a single goal.

A similar situation to another game today. The odds are also identical in favor of Egypt. Even if they are guaranteed a spot in the playoffs, playing in front of the home crowd means that they will have to play great football no matter who they are up against.

Uganda should also be alright unless something special happens in another match in this group. 

Madagascar has 4 points so far, whereas Nigeria has 6. A draw is enough for Nigeria to guarantee themselves a first spot in the group. However, the difference in lineups suggests that Nigeria should still win this one regardless.

They have looked much more convincing and it is not that surprising to see that odds are highly in their favor. I am also willing to follow this and bet on Nigeria.

Guinea has managed to get one point in their two games, but it was against tough opposition. Nigeria has guaranteed themselves a spot, but a great result against Burundi would give a chance to snap the spot from Madagascar.

Guinea will look to go all-in for this one, and Burundi is the perfect opponent for that. 

The first game for Benin ended in a 2:2 draw against Ghana. It should be considered as a decent result. Meanwhile, Guinea-Bissau has lost 2:0 in a game against Cameroon. 

Even though these two results do not tell the whole story, Benin should still have an edge. In their last five games, Guinea has won only 1 game, drawing 2 and losing 2. Meanwhile, before their opener against Ghana, Benin has won 3 previous games.

The way that both of them have performed before the competition show that Benin are considered favorites for a reason.

I have to be honest. I am not very familiar with either of these two teams. However, Angola looks to be like a much better side. Mauritania has a -3 goal difference after the first game, whereas Angola drew with Tunisia, one of the better teams in the group. Before this game, they won 3. Meanwhile, Mauritania is on a 3 loss streak, and their opponents are not what you can consider top-tier teams.

Angola will look to reach the knockout stage, and this game should be a walk in the park for them.

It is no surprise that we see such odds in favor of Uruguay. Even though there have been a number of penalty shootouts already, this one is probably one of the easiest predictions to make in the competition so far.

You just have to look at how both of these have performed in the group stage, and who their opponents were. Uruguay are definitely one of the favorites for the whole competition, especially given how Argentina and Brazil has been looking so far. It was a bit surprising to see Colombia get knocked out by Chile, but this game should be according to what the majority of the football fans expect. 

Looking at how both teams have performed in the competition so far, it would not be a stretch to say that Italy has been doing much better. More goals scored and fewer conceded tells the whole story. Of course, the run that the Netherlands are on at the moment is also impressive. But another argument could be made about the difficulty of the opponents. Italy had a tougher path here.

The history and how both teams have been playing also play a role. Everything is pointing towards a win for Italy, and I am going with them for this one. 

Both teams have won their openers with a scoreline of 1:0.

Of course, the opponents were not of the toughest caliber, but the games were exhausting to play nonetheless. 

If you look at how things have been back in the day, Ivory Coast should be considered one of the best teams in Africa. However, things have changed a bit in recent years, and they are no longer considered the powerhouse. Morocco, on the other hand, is looking like a decent team. 

I am willing to ignore the first games, and on paper, Morocco looks like a much better side. Therefore, I am willing to bet that they will be the ones to get three points in this one.

The matches for both of these teams ended in a 1:0 loss. It is surprising to see Namibia put such a good fight against Morocco, but perhaps their opponents were not playing that great either.

Meanwhile, South Africa had to duke it out with the Ivory Coast. The scoreline for that one was not that surprising.

As for this particular game, well, if you ignore the first games, South Africa should still have an edge. They have a much better lineup of players, and recent results are also in their favor. 

Even though Chile has looked relatively decent in the competition, they still had a hiccup here and there. 

However, Colombia looks to be one of the best teams in Copa America. It would not be a stretch to expect them to go all the way to the final. 

This particular match is not as difficult to predict as some would think. Even though both teams have decent lineups on paper, Colombia has looked that much better so far, and for me, they are the favorites to win this one.

Even though the competition is deep in the playoffs now, every game has a clear favorite. For this particular game, the USA looks to be like a much better team. In fact, a lot of football fans believe that they will be the ones to win the competition.

Nothing but wins for both of the teams if you look at their recent runs. Nevertheless, I am willing to trust what most of the football world is saying. The US will be the ones to reach the next stage.

It is the semi-final time for the competition. This particular pairing is quite interesting. That is, if this was a real competition, not a U21.

Spain has not had any real challenge in their group, and their last game against Poland ended in a whopping 5:0 result. Meanwhile, France has struggled quite a bit, winning two games by a single goal and drawing with Romania. 

Spain has looked much better overall, and they are undoubtedly one of the favorites for the whole competition. Overcoming this France squad should not be that big of a problem.

While Norway has managed to reach the knockout stage of the competition, everyone is in favor of England moving on to the next stage.

England is on a 4 game winning streak, whereas Norway had to fight Australia and the game had to go into extra time. Finally, if you ignore the results and look at how the players actually performed, England has looked much better overall.

Everything is pointing towards England taking the next step, and I would not be surprised if this game ended in a comfortable result for them.

 

Both teams have lost their openers in a result of 0:2 to much stronger teams. Whether either of them can fight for the spot in qualification round is yet to be seen. 

However, this particular match should be in favor of Kenya. It is not that surprising to see bookies favoring them over Tanzania. The biggest factor has to be the lineups and how different the players are. Moreover, if you look at how these two have performed recently, Kenya has a much better win to loss ratio.

Even though both teams have won their openers, the difference between the lineups is definitely noticeable. Senegal is without a doubt one of the best teams in the competition, whereas Algeria, while having some good players, tend to underperform quite a bit.

It will definitely be a match for the first place in the group. The scoreline will probably be minimal, but the advantage is in Senegal's court. I am going with them for this one.

There is not that much to talk about. The teams are from the same country, but they play in different divisions. This is reflected in the odds that bookies are giving in favor of Luzern who are playing at the top tier, whereas Winterthur is in the second tier.

Add the fact that Luzern is at home, and you have a pretty obvious outcome.

Even though this is a friendly game, it should still go in the favor of Luzern. 

If Uganda can get 2 past Democratic Republic of the Congo, then Egypt should not have any problems at all.

The difference between these two teams is simply too big. Egypt is the host country, and they will try to look their best in front of the home supporters.

Even if the opener for Egypt ended with just a single goal, today's opponents are simply not good enough to put a fight against them. The most likely result will probably be 3:0, though I would not be surprised if we see even more goals than that.

The second game for both of these teams. It is a bit difficult to predict the outcome, and the odds show this.

Uganda is the team to be considered as the favorites, mostly because they have won their opener. However, despite their loss, Zimbabwe showed that they are also decent. 1:0 against Egypt is an overall decent result. 

Nevertheless, if you look at the results from before the competition and the lineups, Uganda should hold the advantage regardless. That is why I am going with them for this one. 

Even if this was not the first game of the group, Nigeria would definitely be one of the favorites. Some argue that their group is the easiest in the competition, and looking at the likes of Guinea, Madagascar, and Burundi, this kind of statement is not that far-fetched.

Nigeria beat Burundi 1:0 in their opener, whereas the game between Guinea and Madagascar ended in a 2:2 draw.

These results, even if they are still early, would suggest that Nigeria is the team which will top the group. And this game should cement that.

Despite the fact that the first game ended in a bit of a disaster for Japan after they lost 4:0 to Chile, the same can be said about Ecuador after the same scoreline, but with Uruguay.

In the second round, Japan drew with Uruguay whereas Ecuador lost to Chile. 

Despite being the guests, Japan has shown that they come here to play football and will look to qualify as one of the best 3rd place teams. Ecuador has not looked that great, and I am willing to bet that Japan should be the ones to win this one. 

It will be the first place decider. Of course, it means that Uruguay has to win if they want to get the first place because Chile has 6 points, whereas they have 4.

Given how easy Chile has managed to beat Japan, and Uruguay drew with Japan, it points towards an advantage for Chile. It is a bit surprising to see such odds, but that is how the bookies believe.

The history shows that Chile has the advantage, though the last time these two met was in 2016.

The resurgence of Alexis Sanchez could be the deciding factor, and it would seem that Chile has looked better overall throughout the tournament. 

I have to be honest. Predicting this game is extremely difficult. I do not know a lot about these teams and given that neither of them has had a good run in the past, you have to look at the lineups and how each country looked in the qualifications.

It is no surprise that bookies are giving such a big advantage to Mali. I am also inclined to believe that they should be considered as heavy favorites to get three points. Also, I believe that Mali and Tunisia should be the ones to advance to the next stage.

Since this is the first game of the group for both sides, it is still a bit difficult to predict how everything will turn out in the group. 

Both teams have won 3 of their last games, but looking at their opponents and overall results, Tunisia looks to be like a better side. Finally, when you compare the players, it also becomes clear who the favorites are. 

I am willing to believe the odds and place my trust in this Tunisian side.

It will be the first game for both teams in the group. Looking at things on paper, Ivory Coast is undeniably the better team. Also, if you look at the recent run of South Africa, they had some victories, but they were against somewhat weak teams, and even then, it was after extra time. 

Meanwhile, Ivory Coast had won 4 in their last 5 games, conceding 3 goals throughout this run. 

All in all, it is clear that "The Elephants" should be taking three points in this one.
