It might be my personal preference because I like the Netherlands as a team a lot, but I believe that they are more than capable of beating the current Portuguese side.

The first game was a one-man show, and it is difficult to expect to see Ronaldo perform like that two games in a row. Also, if you compare the Swiss and the Dutch defensively, it should be obvious which team has it better.

Finally, the Swiss did not really threaten Portugal too much, and I expect to see a different game when the Netherlands will go for the win.

It was a loss due to individual mistakes more than anything else. The English had a long season and look to be underperforming quite a bit. Switzerland was a bit unlucky in their game against Portugal, but they did not create that many chances.

I am basing my prediction purely from semi-finals, and England is definitely the favorite to win this one. Switzerland will struggle to keep up with the fast pace of England, and it is more than likely that the Swiss will end up losing this one.

There is hardly any doubt which team is considered a favorite for this one. In fact, it is a bit surprising to see such odds for Italy. Perhaps it is mostly because both teams like to play defensive football, and neither of these are known for scoring a lot of goals.

The situation is the group is pretty clear. A win for Italy would further improve the chances of finishing at the top. Also, losing to Turkey and drawing with Bosnia and Herzegovina for Greece were not very positive results.

Despite what some might think, Lithuania is one of the worst teams in the whole qualification. Their last victory was more than one year ago, away against Sri Lanka. After that, it was nothing but losses, and they did lose to today's opponents on March 22nd. 

Football fans in Lithuania are not happy, and you would need to go back way far to remember the time when the performance of the national team was good. However, I believe that the curse of the losing streak will end in this game and that Lithuania will finally be able to win this one. 

Ukraine does not have the strongest set of players but they still show up when it comes to representing the national team.

Serbia also has a bunch of great players, but their performances leave the fans wanting more. So far, Ukraine is at the top of the group, but Serbia has played only one game. 

The last time these two met was more than three years ago, and Ukraine did win that game 2:0. Though honestly, that result should not be that impactful for the outcome. 

Serbia drew their last two games against Germany and Portugal while playing away. On the other hand, Ukraine drew with Portugal and Turkey while playing away, and they beat Luxembourg away.

Since Ukraine is playing at home, I am leaning towards their victory.

A game that is rather difficult to call given how the situation is in the table. Romania has 3 points, whereas Norway has only 1.

In all fairness, though, Norway did play with Spain away, and they drew Sweden at home. Romania beat the Faroe Islands at home and lost to Sweden away.

Home advantage is one of the biggest factors to take into consideration for this one, but Norway is a stronger team on paper as well.

It is a bit surprising to see such high odds for Poland. Perhaps that is because they are playing away, though, in all fairness, Macedonia is not a team that you can consider to be pushovers.

Poland has won their last two games. Meanwhile, Macedonia has won 3 in their last 4, but in all fairness, they had very weak opponents.

After two games, Poland has 6 points, Macedonia has 4. Poland will likely top their group, and winning such games is as crucial as it gets.

England has won their last five games, and their opponents were not someone that you can consider weak teams. Sure, the last two games might have been easier, especially given how they scored five goals in each of those games. But what this shows is that the side has quality, and getting 4th place in the World Cup is no laughing matter. England is a powerhouse in the world now.

The Netherlands are looking to re-establish themselves in the elite as well, and the rising of Ajax superstars would suggest that they have a bright future. However, the way these two teams are at the moment, I cannot help but see only one outcome, and that is the victory for England. They have shown more consistency, and it would not be a stretch to say that their players are better.

It should not be that surprising to see Mexico as the favorites for the game. First of all, they are playing at home, though that is not everything.

Mexico has won their last two games, against tough opponents. 3:1 against Chile at home, and 2:4 against Paraguay away. Venezuela's most recent game a draw against Ecuador at home, and before that they did beat weakened Argentina squad, but that game was in March.

Recent results and overall quality of players should be more than enough to indicate that Mexico is absolute favorites for this one. 

To be fair, I am a bit surprised to see such odds. While the USA are definitely the favorites on paper, the national team has not performed that great recently. Missing the World Cup was a massive blow to them, and the results that followed are not very promising.

Regardless, this game should be in the bag, but the only question remains whether we will see at least 3 goals. I believe so, mostly because Jamaica is a good opponent for the US to release some stress. In fact, it could end up being a total goal fest.

Despite the fact that Montreal are the odd favorites, I would not be that certain. Both teams have not had the greatest run of games, and home advantage might not be enough to predict the winner for this one.

However, there is a high chance that this game will have at least 3 goals in total. Montreal's last three games involved 12 goals in total, Seattle's 8 goals. The average points toward a positive result for this bet. 

Another game with a clear favorite.

France has won all of their games in the group and they are the team with one of the highest odds to win the entire thing. Scoring at least twice in every game should be a good enough boost for them to expect a win against the US.

As for the Americans, they did have a tough time in the group and won 2 of their 3 games. The number of goals scored in these matches is not that high, but playing against France will be an entirely different thing. I expect to see at least 3 goals in this game. 

There is no denying who the favorites for the match are. And since Argentina are so heavily favored, it is not worth putting money on the winner.

Instead, the number of goals should be a good enough choice. 

In their last three games, Argentina was involved with 12 goals, which is 4 goals a game average. Mali was with 14 goals, and the average is even higher.

It should be clear why expecting at least three goals in this game is not a stretch. 

Despite the odds favoring Japan, I am still going with South Korea for this one.

They had a tougher group and lost only to Portugal. Beating Argentina was something really unexpected, and while South Africa lost to them 1:0, it was more than enough to reach the next stage.

Japan did win against Mexico, but they drew with Italy and Ecuador. The point tally was enough, but it shows that the team is still lacking. 

While this is a final, you cannot help but expect Liverpool's victory. They have been the second best team in the Premier League, and it would not be a stretch to say that they are one of the best, if not the best in the world this season.

Tottenham had one of the most incredible journeys to reach the final, and winning it would be something surreal. 

Despite the potential for a fairytale ending, I still have to go with reason on this one and bet on Liverpool. The difference between these two is simply too much, and the whole situation of players like Winks, Kane puts everything into an even more doubtful situation. Finally, Tottenham has more liabilities in their squad, most notably Kieran Trippier who will likely be starting this game. 

The call to make on this one is rather difficult, especially when you consider how the teams have been performing recently. Broendby has won 3 and lost 2 in their last five games. Meanwhile, Randers won 2 and drew 3. However, one thing that Broendby has in their favor is the head-to-head clashes. They have won the last three games. On top of that, Broendby is playing at home.

Everything is pointing towards a victory for Broendby.

Argentina is at the top of the group with 6 points and a goal difference of +5. South Korea has managed to beat South Africa, but they lost to Portugal. Meanwhile, Argentina showed that they are the best team by beating those two.

South Korea should be able to put up a fight, but I honestly cannot see them winning or even drawing this game. Argentina will more than likely finish at the top of their group as a lot of people have predicted.

Seeing France at the top of their group should not be that surprising. However, Mali in the second place is quite a sight to behold. They are not the team which football fans would associate with powerhouses on the international stage.

Even seeing such odds in favor of France is a bit surreal, but that is how the things are in the competition so far. France is definitely the favorites, and they will look to finish the group flawlessly. After all, Mali did not have the easiest time again other teams, and it shows in their goal difference. Whereas France has +4.

Saudi Arabia has lost both of its games, and a loss against Mali was probably one of the most surprising results of the tournament.  Meanwhile, Panama has not been doing that hot either, managing to get only one point with a draw against Mali.

Does this surprising? Perhaps, and the Saudi Arabians will look to rehabilitate themselves and not end the tournament with zero points. On paper, they are the better team and should be winning this game. 

Surprisingly good odds. Even though these teams do not score a bunch of goals, this game has a high chance to end up being with at least 3 goals at the final whistle.

Looking at the last 2 games for each of the teams, the total goal tally is at 9. Divide it by 4, and you have more than two goals per game.

 

Despite the fact that Chelsea is stronger on paper and have finished higher in the Premier League, there are a lot of problems surrounding the team at the moment. Players will be missing the game due to injuries, most notably Kante. Hazard cannot shut up about leaving and this does not bode well with everyone at the club. Finally, Sarri's future is in doubt, at least according to the media.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will be missing Mkhitaryan, but they have shown in Valencia that Europa League could be theirs this year. Unai Emery is the expert of the competition, and he has a team which is capable of overcoming the current Chelsea squad.

The odds should not be that surprising.

On paper, South Korea is a better side and they have had much more achievements in any age group compared to South Africa, especially in recent years.

The first game was tough for both sides. However, South Korea has lost only 1:0 to Portugal, whereas South Africa has conceded 5 goals against Argentina.

It is no surprise that odds are favoring South Korea. They should be the ones to win this one.

Portugal has scored only one goal against South Korea, but they have much more attacking potential than that. 

Meanwhile, Argentina put 5 past South Africa and conceded 2. 7 goals in total is not a result you expect in such a game, but they have proved everyone wrong.

Looking at these tendencies, it would not be a stretch to say that there should be at least 3 goals this game.

The odds are more or less the same for this game. Even though De Graafschap won the first game, Sparta Rotterdam will do everything they can to win this one.

Before the qualification stage, neither of these two teams had a decent run of games. However, since De Graafschap managed to win the first game, I am hopeful that they should be able to show a very similar result while playing at home.

The first game between these two ended in a 1:1 draw and this should be considered as a victory for Vitesse.

Utrecht had to play Heracles and they had no problem, winning 5:0 on aggregate. 

Meanwhile, Vitesse had to struggle with Groningen, but they did win 4:3 on aggregate.

The odds are in favors of Vitesse and they are the ones to play at home. I am going with them for this one as well.

Le Mans has won their last five games. Meanwhile, Ajaccio had their last win on April 5th and after that, it is 2 draws and 5 losses.

Given the recent form of both teams and the fact that Le Mans is the team playing at home, it should be a no-brainer that they are definitely the favorites to win this game.

 

I had Stuttgart as the winners for the first game, but they were kind of disappointing in all honesty. I guess that playing in the top division was not enough to overwhelm their opponents.

Anyway, now that the game is in Berlin, the home team has all the advantage and it would be really surprising to see them not winning this game.

I fully expect to see Union Berlin next season in the Bundesliga, and hopefully, that will happen.

Things did not turn out the way that a lot of people have expected. At least when it comes to Derby.

Aston Villa is the team that had a fantastic finish to the season and has managed to jump in the playoff spot at the last minute. Given their recent form, it is no surprise that they are the odd favorites for the game.

It will be an interesting match to watch, but looking at how good Aston Villa has been, I cannot help but see them reach the Promised Land and be in the Premier League next season.

Quite a difficult game to call. The odds are more or less the same despite one team having home advantage.

The first leg ended in a goalless draw and not a lot of people expect to see more than one goal this game.

Despite all that, though, St. Mirren should be the choice for those who want to predict a winner. The first game was good for them because they did not concede away, and it should be much easier to play in front of their supporters.
