Despite the fact that Leicester has sacked their manager, they should still be more than capable to beat this Brighton side. There is this weird tendency that teams win after sacking their manager.

Leicester has been underperforming under Puel, so it will be interesting where the team goes from here. But if there is one thing that they must do, it is getting three points in this game.

There is no doubt that Everton is the better team on paper. And they will likely end up winning this game, despite playing away.

Cardiff has looked somewhat better in their recent games, but playing against Everton will be an entirely different experience. 

 

Even though both of these teams have been at the bottom of the table, it is more than likely that Caen will be the team fighting for relegation. Meanwhile, Toulouse looks to be above the bottom three in terms of everything.

Predicting the outcome of these games is always a difficulty, but the ones to get all three points should be the home side. 

All signs point to Nantes winning and getting all three points. They have had a better run of games, they are playing at home, and the difference in the squads is definitely up there.

I think it is one of the safest bets of the weekend.

While Hoffenheim can be considered as one of the better team in the league, they still pale in comparison to the likes of Leipzig. The favorites are definitely the RB club. And they will be playing home.

The most recent run of games has not been that hot for Leipzig, but this is the perfect opportunity to get on the track and finish the season in the top-four spot. 

This time around, Dortmund absolutely need to win the game if they still want to be the ones to win the Bundesliga.

The team has been doing so poorly compared to how they were before the last few games. Yes, missing Reus and a couple of other players is a big blow, but the decline in their form is really mysterious.

Playing in front of their home crowd should encourage the team to overcome the opposition. And finally, get those crucial 3 points. 

Sassuolo has a better standing in the table. SPAL is behind them by 8 points, which is more than enough to show who is the better team between these two.

While the recent form of games has not been good for both clubs, Sassuolo still has more than enough of an advantage to get all three points. Finally, they are the ones hosting SPAL.

Not that much to talk about this particular game. The difference between the teams is definitely there. The better side is playing at home and between them, Sampdoria seems to have a much more balanced team. Not to mention the fact that they are at home. 

Despite the fact that the odds favorites are Liverpool, I am still going with Man Utd for this match. Judging by how the performance of Liverpool was against Bayern Munich, it did not seem like they were able to do anything noteworthy. In fact, some of their players look rather fatigued.

United will likely be missing Lingaard and Martial, but the rest of the squad still has plenty of potential. One of the biggest reasons why I am going for the home side victory this game is because of the history of these two clubs in Old Trafford. United are the obvious favorite here.

It should be a very exciting game regardless, but Man Utd should be the ones with three more points added to their tally.

West Ham has been slowly but surely climbing the table. Meanwhile, Fulham is at the bottom three and will more than likely end up getting relegated at the end of the season.

The history between these two team show advantage to West Ham. And they are the team to play at home.

Looking at the run of both clubs, West Ham also has the advantage.

Cardiff has not been in a very poor form recently. Nevertheless, it would be difficult to expect them to put a lot of fight against Watford who can be considered a mid-table team in the Premier League.

Looking at the previous games between these two, Watford has a slight edge over the opponents. And despite the fact that the game is in Cardiff, I would still have to go with the London club.

The tie that a lot of people think will end up almost goalless across both games. Yesterday, both games in the competition ended without any goals. As silly as it might seem, I do believe that there will be goals this game. 

Judging by the form of both teams, I expect to see Juventus winning. It would seem that they have found the missing link in Ronaldo to finally win the Champions League. Moreover, Serie A is more or less finished.

Meanwhile, La Liga has a situation where all top teams are giving away points at the most random times. Atletico is inconsistent, too. Therefore, I am going for Juventus for the match, and for the ones to advance.

One of the most interesting game in the competition so far. Liverpool will be missing some key players in Van Dijk and Lovren, so their defense will have a lot of troubles.

On the other hand, Bayern tends to do rather poorly away from home this season. And even though Liverpool is a side that does not have their best players available, they should be more than OK at Anfield. Bayern will likely be more careful with their football, as Liverpool will be lethal on counter attacks. 

I do not expect that this will be an easy game for either of the teams, but with how well Liverpool has been playing this season, they should be the ones to get a win here, and will most likely advance to the next stage. 

This pair is probably one of the easiest to predict in the competition. Lyon has shown some signs of life by winning against PSG in the league, but overall, the French side has been quite inconsistent.

Inconsistency is a word that describes Barcelona's season, too. However, when it comes to the overall quality of both clubs, you cannot help but learn towards Barcelona. Away games in Champions League are always tough, no matter who you are against. However, it would not be a stretch to say that the away side should be the ones winning this match. 

I expect that a lot of people will be favoring United. However, they are missing key players in Lingaard and Martial. Their likely replacements of either Lukaku or Alexis have not been doing that well.

While Chelsea is probably the most inconsistent team in the top six, they still have a great history in Stamford Bridge playing against United. And as silly as that may sound, they tend to bounce back after a heavy defeat. A game against Bournemouth and what followed next is a good example. And their most recent blunder against City will be the perfect time to win. 

The game will likely not be very interesting to watch, but I still expect Chelsea reaching the next round. 

Donetsk has been preparing for the game a bit different because they do not have domestic competition at the moment. As for Frankfurt, their last three games were draws. Playing against one of the teams that are constantly in the Champions League will be an entirely different experience. And since the game is away for the Germans, the whole thing becomes even more difficult. 

I do not expect to see a lot of games in this game, though Donetsk should be the ones to win this one. 

Everything seems to be in favor of the German team. They have been doing really well in the domestic competition, beating the likes of Bayern and Wolfsburg, and most recently crushing Mainz with a result of 1:5.

Krasnodar has only had a couple of friendly games recently, and playing those which are not official does not help a lot in preparing for the big game that this one will be. I honestly believe that this one cannot end in any other way but the victory for Leverkusen. 

Nothing that much to talk about for this one. You have two teams that play in entirely different leagues and have different budgets. And since the stronger of the two is playing at home, Olympiakos should be the ones to probably secure the whole tie in the first game. It is not likely that either of these two would go far in the competition, but in this particular game, Dinamo stands very little chance to put up a fight against the opposition. 

Comparing two sides in terms of the players is difficult, but there is one factor that makes me go with the Portuguese for this one. Villarreal has won their last game in 2018 in the Europa League. But since then, they have been losing and drawing. Given that the Spanish are away this game, it should further increase the odds of Sporting to get a win and improve their chances of reaching the next stage.

Between these two teams, one would think that going for the home side is the better option because there is hardly any difference in the strength of both squads. However, looking at how Benfica has been performing in the domestic league so far, I cannot help but lean towards the Portuguese here.

It will be one of the most interesting games of today, and while predicting the winner is difficult, I am picking Benfica.

Both teams will be missing key players, though Spurs are probably in a worse position compared to their opponents. Wembley is a tough place to play, and while it cannot be called Tottenham's home ground, they still are doing quite well there.

This will be the game of the day and should be a very interesting match. If Dortmund was not missing the likes of Reus and Piszcek, I would probably lean towards their victory. However, these two are key players and they make a difference.

The recent game has shown that Borussia has holes in the defense, and Tottenham will look to expose it. Finally, you have an x-factor in Son, who loves to score against Dortmund.

It will be the first match between these two teams. It should be an interesting contest, and with the way both teams have been performing recently, it is difficult to predict the winner.

However, I am expecting to see quite a few goals here. Therefore, I am willing to bet on at least 3 throughout the game. Defense is not the strength of the teams, but they have plenty to offer on the attack.

The history between these two clubs suggests that Porto has an upper hand. However, due to injuries, a lot of fans of football are leaning towards Roma as the favorite of this tie.

The first game is in Italy, which increases the chances of the home side to win. They have been struggling this season but looked good in the Champions League.

If both teams were injury-free, it would be much more difficult to predict the outcome. However, as things stand right now, I cannot help but go with Roma for this one. 

This is without a doubt one of the most interesting games of the competition. The two teams have never met before in an official game, and these types of matchups are always interesting to see.

PSG were the favorites after the draw. However, injuries and the influence of OGS at Man Utd has turned the tables. Now the majority of football fans are expecting Manchester club's victory. Myself included.

PSG will be missing Neymar, Cavani, and Meunier. They have a killer in Mbappe, but the young French talent might not be enough to carry the team. Meanwhile, the home side does not have injury problems and are expected to start with their best lineup.

I am going for Man Utd victory because they have more momentum, are playing at home, and PSG are missing their key players.

There is hardly any other outcome for this game. You have the best team in the league outside the big six and one of the worst teams in the league. Despite the fact that Newcastle has purchased some new players, they will still struggle and fight for survival in the Premier League. Meanwhile, Wolves have established themselves as a great team, and will look to make life harder for everyone this and next year.

Moreover, the game is in Wolverhampton, which further improves the chances of the home side winning. Newcastle has not been looking that good in their away games.

The difference between these two teams is definitely noticeable. While Frankfurt has been overperforming, at least according to some fans of the league, it is more than likely that we will see Leipzig in the Champions League next season.

This will be a perfect opportunity for the home side to get crucial three points against one of the best teams in the league, and it is more than likely that this is how the game will pan out. 

If there will be a year where we might not see Bayern ending up the winners of Bundesliga, it has to be this season. Dortmund has a seven-point lead and they should be able to maintain this after this game.

Hoffenheim is a tough team to beat, but they are certainly not someone that Borussia should struggle with. Moreover, the game is at Signal Iduna Park, which is more or less impregnable this season. 

I expect another Borussia win and the continuation of their dominance in the league. 

If there is one team in the Serie A that still has any hope of fighting against Juventus, it has to be Napoli. They have been in the second place for what seems like forever, but it does not mean that they should give up. No, the team will continue to fight every game, and this one against Fiorentina should not be an exception.

It is a tough place to play, but Napoli has been winning most of their games, no matter if they are at home or away. Therefore, I expect nothing less than a victory from the away side. 

Both teams will more than likely end up the season at the bottom half of the table. The only question is whether they will get sucked in a relegation fight. As things are right now, it is highly unlikely. 

Brighton has a three-point lead over Burnley, so it will be a crucial match for both teams. 

Looking at the recent results and the form of Burnley's away game, I cannot help but expect a quite comfortable win for the home side.
