If there is one thing that we can tell about both of these teams, it would have to be the fact that they are underperforming quite a bit compared to a previous season. Despite having Champions League football this year, results in the domestic league are quite disappointing. This is especially the case for Schalke. And for this game, they are away, against one of the tougher opponents out there. Hoffenheim is by no means a powerhouse, but they have a stable lineup and will be playing at home. It should be a victory to the home side. 

Dortmund are on top of the table in the Bundesliga. A lot of people hope that this will finally be the year when Bayern are not getting away with the title again. 

Borussia had a Champions League game against Brugge, but for some reason, they were unable to score any goals. Freiburg will be a more familiar opponent. And playing at home is always a good advantage, one that the team will look to exploit.

Scoring more than a few goals and ensuring their victory is what Dortmund has been doing this season. It will be difficult anything other than that from this game.

After last weekend, Wolverhampton will look to get three points. Playing away is always a challenge, but when it is one of the worst teams in the league we are talking about, it should not be that big of a problem.

Both teams got promoted for this season, but the quality between them is quite noticeable. Wolves are comfortable in the middle of the table, whereas Cardiff will likely go down at the end of the season.

Games like these are crucial for teams that want to remain in a good place. Therefore, Wolverhampton will look to get one of the easiest three points all season. 

The group is more or less settled, with both of these teams going to the knockout stage. At least that is what should happen. 

For this game, I expect Porto to be the ones taking all three points. They have been more convincing in the Champions League and in the domestic league. Meanwhile, Schalke has had a lot of problems, though it seems like they are doing a bit better now.

Finally, Porto is playing at home, which is an advantage in itself. 

Even though a lot of people give PSG an advantage, circumstances are not in their favor. There have been a few injuries to their key players and it is more than likely that they will miss a game. It will lead to players playing out of position, which can cause even more problems.

The group is tight and every point matters a lot. If Liverpool are up to the task, they can really punish the hosts. This should be a real treat to watch, and I predict that Liverpool will be the ones with three points. 

The situation for Tottenham in the Champions League is a bit tough. They need to win and expect certain results from other games if they want to reach the knockout stages. 

For this game, it would not be a stretch to expect Tottenham's victory. They have a fantastic game against Chelsea on weekend, while Inter crushed bottom team Frosinone.

Both teams like to attack and have plenty of threat up front. 2:1 is the most likely result for this game. 

This might be a bit of a stretch but I expect a lot of goals this game. The most likely result will be 2:2 or 2:3. City has been firing on all fronts lately, especially in the Premier League. Champions League is an entirely different competition, and away games tend to be quite tough. However, Lyon is not a powerhouse that should cause a lot of problems for the opposition. However, they are more than capable of scoring a few goals.

All in all, Over 3,5 for this game, in this round of the competition is definitely one of the better options.

Even though both teams will likely fight in a relegation battle this season, one cannot help but think that Burnley is the better of the two teams. Newcastle has been extremely disappointing this season. Meanwhile, Burnley picked some points recently. On top of that, they are playing at home. And that is quite a bit advantage in these type of games. 

I do not expect to see a lot of goals this game. However, Burnley should be able to overcome their opposition. The most likely result will be 1:0 or 2:0

Not really much to talk about here. You have two teams who are similar in their quality, but the advantage has to go to Athletic because they are playing at home. And in all honesty, more people would expect them to get all three points.

This should not be an easy game, but we can still expect the home side to get all three points. 

Looking at the table, these teams seem to be quite close to each other. However, one thing that separates them is consistency and squad quality. Even though Bournemouth are at home, they are definitely not the team that has a higher chance to win this game.

Arsenal has not shown their real quality in the last couple of games but this one will be a good opportunity to get three points.

Looking at the table and the recent results, I must give an advantage to Chelsea. Sure, you could argue that Tottenham is playing at home, but the situation is not what it seems. They are still waiting for their new stadium.

Tottenham has been a bit unpredictable against their opponents, no matter how weak or strong they are on paper. Chelsea, on the other hand, has been thriving under new management.

All things considered, this one should go to the away team.

Dortmund has been quite unstoppable in the Bundesliga so far. They look like the team with the highest chances to win the league this year.

Even though this game is away for them, Mainz has not been performing that great, even when they are playing at home.

Alcacer is back from injury and he has been performing for the team, scoring plenty of goals when coming off the bench. The team itself is in a good form and they will look to get more momentum and points. An opponent like Mainz is perfect for that. 

Even though Kosovo is one of the smallest nations out there, they are still topping this group. A win against the opponents will seal the deal, though a draw would suffice just as much. However, Kosovo will be playing at home and will look to end everything on a high note.

Azerbaijan is not that weak compared between the two, though the results and the fact that Kosovo is at home should be more than enough. 

Looking at how things were turning out in the group, it would be safe to assume that Sweden should be able to overcome their opposition. The difference between Sweden who is playing at home and away is quite big.

Russia is not that tough of an opponent, so the win should go to the home side. I would not expect a lot of goals for this game either. It will likely be 1:0 or 2:0

Slovakia has managed to crush group leaders Ukraine by scoring 4 goals past them. However, these two teams still remain at the bottom with the same amount of points.

The previous meeting between these ended in a 1:2 in favor of Czech Republic. Czechs are at home, so they should definitely score at least one goal. And the game between Slovakia and Ukraine suggests that Slovakia should also be able to get at least one goal. 

All in all, it is not a far-fetched idea that both these teams should score.

Looking at how things turned out in the group so far, these two bottom teams are among the lowest scoring in the competition. The previous meeting between these two ended in a goalless draw, and the game was in Latvia. On paper, Latvians are a better team, so it was a bit surprising. Following the logic of the outcome, it should be another 0:0, or one of the teams managing to get a goal and holding on to it for whatever it takes.

Hardly anyone is expecting an exciting game from these two, and those who will be watching it should probably consider themselves lucky if they will see at least one goal. 

The group turned out in a way that not many people would have predicted. Germany is relegated, whereas the Netherlands will continue to fight on. This game is more or less meaningless. Therefore, Germany might not play with too much on their minds and win the game. 

They are at home, and while some say that this game is pointless, there is still a lot of pride left here, especially when it comes to playing one of your biggest rivals.

Estonia is without a doubt the worst team in the group. The results speak for themselves. Meanwhile, Greece is in the second place. At least the way things are right now.

Greece tends to play one of the most boring and defensive football in Europe, no matter who they are up against. The most likely result for this game is either 1:0 or 2:0. It is very unlikely that Estonia will score, and Greece should come out on top. 

I am judging this choice based on the recent results and the fact that this game is in Hungary.

Finland is on top of the group, which is a bit surprising. And since they are the best team in the group, they should be able to score a goal, even if it is an away game. And this is hardly a group that you can call being one with a lot of goals throughout the games.

All in all, despite that quite a few games tend to end up with one of the teams without scoring, this one should be an exception. 

The difference between these two teams is massive. Moreover, Romania is playing at home, which is always a big advantage. Even more so during international games.

Lithuania has been conceding goals no matter who they are playing against, no matter where they are playing. This match in Romania should end up somewhere along the lines of 3:0 or even 4:0. If Lithuania is lucky, they might get a goal, though it will not make that much of a difference. 

After what was a very entertaining game between Croatia and Spain, the group will be decided after this game. England has been firing on all cylinders lately and has been playing entertaining football. They will have a home advantage this game and should be able to put it to good use. 

A lot of England's players are in good form, and they seem to be performing even better when they are playing for their country. 

Overall, it should be a really entertaining game, with three points going to the home side. 
 

A lot of people are expecting for this game to be with hardly any goals. Past games have shown that this is a likely tendency. However, Italy seems to be changing, and their defense is not as tough as it once was. Meanwhile, Portugal has plenty to offer up front.

It is likely that Austria will win because they have a home advantage. However, their opposition will look to attack and try to get a goal or two. Dzeko has been on a great form recently, and it is highly likely that he will score.

A previous meeting between the two did not end up with a lot of goals. However, the Netherlands seem to be picking a bit of pace, beating Germany and all that. France will be missing some key players due to injury. However, the depth of their squad is immense, so it should not be a problem to find decent replacements.

While the game might not be that open, there should be a few goals between these two teams. Both like to attack, and France will look to solidify their position. Getting three points would do just that. Meanwhile, the Dutch will also look to get a win.

Greece is no longer a country which participates in the international tournaments. Their football has been on the decline. However, everyone expects that things will start to pick up for them sooner or later.
