Looking at how things are turning out after the World Cup, it is a bit surprising to see Croatia on such a decline. Sure, they have had a few key players retire. Nevertheless, the results are rather shocking. 

Meanwhile, Spain has been firing on all cylinders. And they will likely continue to improve.

This game should be plenty of action. Spain should be the winner, though they are playing away, which could be a bit of a challenge.

I expect a rather open game and plenty of goals. Spain's attacking potential should solidify this outcome. 

AC Milan has been extremely lucky in the last couple of games. They have managed to get a win in the extra time. This time around, however, they will be going against the best team in Serie A.

Juventus has surprisingly lost against Man Utd in the Champions League and will look to rehabilitate themselves. Even though AC Milan is in the top four at the moment, I honestly do not see themselves getting Champions League football for the next season. They were rather lucky, whereas Juventus is the favorites to win everything this year.

Fifth place, who are playing at home, against a team that is last in the table. 

This should be more than a comfortable win for Alaves. They have been doing really great and are challenging for the top four this season. And given that their opposition today is one of the weakest teams in the league, it will be a great opportunity to get even more points.

Alaves to win this one, without too many problems. 

Looking at the odds, I am rather surprised that Sevilla has such numbers. They are definitely the favorites for the game, and are playing at home on top of that.

Espanyol has been overperforming. At least that is what I think. The fact that they are on top 4 at the moment is mainly due to other teams underperforming.

Sevilla should not have that much trouble against their opponents today. 

The team has been struggling in the Champions League. Tottenham, that is. However, it seems that Eriksen and Ali are back now, and will join the lineup.

Crystal Palace has managed to draw against Arsenal at home. However, other than that, it would seem that they have a tough time against the top 6.

Everything is in favor of Tottenham. The lineup, the odds, and a rather bad form of Crystal Palace.

Dynamo is at the top of the table, whereas Rennes is in the third place. The difference between these two teams is two points, so a win for the French club would mean a lot.

However, playing in Kiev is always tough. CIS teams tend to do great when at home. Not to mention the fact that for this particular game, Dynamo is considered a favorite.

We have one of the leaders of the group versus the bottom team. And the leaders are playing at home. Astana is a tough place to play, simply because the team has to travel quite a distance, especially if they are from the western part of Europe.

All factors are pointing toward Astana's victory.

Looking at the odds and how things are turning out in the group, Fenerbahce should be able to overcome the opposition this time. Anderlecht is one of the best Belgium teams, and while the international team does well in tournaments, the same cannot be said about club football. 

Fenerbahce are at home, has a better squad on paper, and are favorites according to bookies. 

A really interesting game. A win for CSKA would mean that they go above Roma. However, the Italian club seems to be doing OK when it comes to playing big games, and away.

On paper, Roma is the favorite. And while CSKA did manage to beat Real, the Spanish club is in a pretty bad place right now.

Roma will look to get all three points from this game and increase their chances to reach the next stage of the competition. 

Looking at this game, one would have to give the advantage to Lyon. They are a stronger team on paper and are playing at home. Hoffenheim has been doing somewhat OK in the Champions League campaign so far, but it should be City and Lyon to reach the knockout stage.

Lyon will look to get those three crucial points and basically guarantee themselves a place for the next stage.

The first game ended 0:1. United has been doing somewhat better in the domestic league, but you cannot call them a stable team that has a lot of reliability attacking-wise. Defense seems to be in an OK position, compared to the start of the season that is.

Nevertheless, playing in Turin against Juventus is one of the most difficult games in European football. Juve has been dominating everyone at home. The likely result for this game is 2:0 or even 3:0. Very little chance for United to score against this defense.

Even though the odds favor PSG, the team does not seem to be doing that great against tough opposition away. Napoli is one of the toughest places to play in Europe. Moreover, the Italian team was extremely unlucky that the game in Paris ended in a draw.

Even though PSG is a stronger team on paper, I have to go with Napoli. PSG has been dominating the domestic league, but when it comes to dealing with tough opponents, they tend to crumble. Finally, it is crucial to get three points from this game. Napoli will do everything they can to achieve that. 

The previous meeting between these two ended in a rather sensational result. It would be naive to expect something similar this game. Atletico is at home and will look to get those crucial three points. 

However, Dortmund has shown that they have so much potential on the attack. And now Palcacer is back in the fray. If one of the teams scores an early goal, we can expect for their opponents to get an equalizer. And a draw is very unlikely. A result like 2:1 is very possible for this particular game. 

Even if Lionel Messi is not playing, you cannot help but expect Barcelona victory. It seems that they have this group in their hands, with finishing at the top of the table. A win for Barca would mean good news for Tottenham.
Even though the game is in Italy, Inter has been too unpredictable and not as solid as a lot of people have expected. Barca is the favorite, and everything is pointing towards their victory.
 

This is a do-or-die game for Tottenham. If they want to reach the next stage, they absolutely have to win this game, and one against Inter at home. Barca away is most likely impossible, so they will need a positive outcome from Barca and Inter game.

Anyway, it is expected to see Eriksen back in the starting eleven. The previous game in the Netherlands ended in a draw mostly due to a red card. Tottenham are favorites to win, and with some goals to boot. It would be difficult to bet against anything else.

After the appointment of Thierry Henry, a lot of people expected for Monaco to finally get things going and begin to win. However, the team has been struggling, and the new manager has suggested that his players are not "willing" to play.

However, the time has come to finally see some results. This game at home against an opponent like Brugge should be a good way to get three points. On paper, Monaco is a better team and are playing at home. 

Liverpool has been on a roll when it comes to playing lesser opposition and attacking. If there is something we can take from the previous encounters between Crvena Zvezda and elite European clubs, it would have to be the fact that they cannot really hold on during the game.

Teams like Liverpool look to exploit their opponent's weaknesses. In this case, it will be a weak defense. I expect to see plenty of goals and an easy win for the English side. 

It seems that the odds are pretty high for this game, considering how Parma is in the middle of the table, and Frosinone is struggling with relegation. The difference between the two teams is quite noticeable. Not to mention the fact that Parma has been playing in Serie A for many years now.

Experience and home advantage should be more than enough to see Parma take three points from this game. 

Chelsea will likely go all the way with their challenge for the champion title. It will be interesting to see how things will turn out and whether they will be able to put up a fight against Manchester City.

For this game, their opponents are another London club. Palace drew with Arsenal at home, but playing Chelsea away is an entirely different matter. With in-form Hazzard, one cannot help but expect a relatively easy victory for Chelsea, and with plenty of goals to boot. 

City will look to go all guns blazing and get plenty of goals this game. Southampton has been struggling a lot with their attacking front, whereas Manchester club has not conceded goal for what seems like forever.

Not that much to add, in all honesty. Just another win for City.

If there is one team in the world of football that has a lot of attention right now, it has to be Leicester. 

The players should be more than motivated to get a win in honor for what happened to their owner. And going against the weakest opponent in the league is a great opportunity to accomplish that.

Everything is pointing towards away side victory. Leicester should take three points.

After the last game where they ended up with just one point, Dortmund will look to get back to winning ways. It will be interesting to see what kind of a fight Wolfsburg can put up against league leaders.

Given their recent form, Dortmund should win against Wolfsburg. The opposition is in the middle of the table right now, and will likely end there when the season concludes. Meanwhile, Borussia will look to take it all and finally stop Bayern's dominance.

Not that a lot of things to talk about this particular choice. Newcastle has been struggling a lot, but they should finally get something from this game at home. Even if it is scoring a goal. Watford, meanwhile, has been doing well and will look to end up with three points. 

Chances of goals from both sides are big for this game. 

With all these tidings of a new stadium, Tottenham does not really have a ground they can call home. So whether it is playing away or at home makes not that much difference to them. The team does relatively well in their away matches, barring the games against top-six sides.

Eriksen and Ali will likely feature from the start, giving a big boost to the attack. They have been missing in the last few weeks, and it really showed looking at both the plays and results.

Wolves are doing decently, but Tottenham will be an opponent of another caliber. Londoners should be able to overcome the opposition. 

Everything is pointing towards Liverpool victory. The odds, the lineup, the number of points they have won so far.

Arsenal has had an amazing streak of winning games until their recent draw with Crystal Palace. I believe that the time for them to finally lose has come. Liverpool is one of the contenders for the title and will look to get all three points from this game. 

Even though it will be difficult, I would be surprised by anything but a Liverpool victory. 

Bournemouth is a tough opponent for any side, especially when they are playing at home. However, it would seem that Man Utd has been picking some momentum in their last couple of games and will look to improve their point tally.

Martial has been on a good form, as the defense with Lindelof and Smalling. Mourinho might have finally found a pair of defenders that he can rely on.
 
Overall, it will be a very interesting game, and I expect that Man Utd will win this. 

Even though this is a Cup League game, City will look to dominate possession and score a lot of goals. It is more than likely that Guardiola will use reserves, but even those players who tend to warm bench are of the highest quality when talking about Man City.

Fulham also have a lot of threat upfront and will have nothing to lose this game. Nothing to lose for them this game, so going on the attack whenever possible seems only natural.

Nevertheless, all things considered, it should be safe to say that City will have a victory, and by a rather big margin.

Both teams have the same amount of points so far this season. It will be a very interesting game to watch if you are a fan of Italian football.

Lazio is my favorites to win this particular game because they are playing at home. If this was a neutral ground, predicting the winner would be extremely difficult.

Even though there is a lot of defensive style of play involved in the league, I expect that there should be goals this game. 3 at the very least.
