The Calgary Flames will try to fight off elimination here after taking three straight losses following a superb start to the series. They won the first home game in the series 4-0 and looked to be heading towards a 2-0 series lead in Game 2 as well, but a late surge by Colorado saw them drop the game in overtime 3-2 and two road losses followed. Before their surprising victory in Game 2, the Avs had lost six straight visits to Calgary. They haven't won two straight road games against the Flames since 2013.
