Pick: Tottenham Win
Odds: 2.10
Stake: 6/10
Tottenham :Their squad has recently been improved with Aurier from PSG, Sanchez from Ajax, and Liorente from Swansea, who will be a substitute for Kane.
Dortmund: Recently, they were left without Dembele, who was transferred to Barcelona for € 105M. Hopefully their recent reinforcement, attacker Yarmolenko from Dynamo Kyiv, will prove to be a valuable player. Also, it’s great they kept Aubameyang, who scored amazing 31 goals during the previous season of Bundesliga and 7 goals in the Champions League.
There is plenty of quality in both teams and it is hard to separate them on paper. Yet, we believe the Wembley woes could come back to haunt the Spurs once again.
Injuries: On the weekend, Dortmund lost captain Marcel Schmelzer to a long-term injury. Marc Bartra also suffered an injury scare in the game meaning he is a doubt. Marco Reus, Raphael Guerreiro, Andre Schürrle, Erik Durm, Sebastian Rode and Erik Durm are all long-term injuries who Dortmund will also be without.
