On Wednesday night, Arsenal and Tottenham go head-to-head in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.
The North London rivals clashed just a few weeks ago when the Gunners recorded a 4-2 win at the Emirates Stadium to stay in the hunt for a top-four spot. The League Cup would not have been a priority for either side to win this season. However, the fact that this is a North London derby will add to the occasion.
Arsenal’s 22-match unbeaten run in all competitions ended last time out when Southampton beat the Gunners 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Unai Emery’s side had won five of their previous six matches in all competitions.
The recent victory over Spurs will give the home side major confidence of getting back to winning ways in this clash.
