Chelsea v Huddersfield Preview and Prediction

On Wednesday night, Chelsea host Huddersfield at Stamford Bridge, in a massive game at both ends of the table.

Chelsea pulled themselves back into the fight for a Champions League spot by recording a 1-0 home win over Liverpool last time out. The win means the Blues have a game in –hand on the third-place Merseysiders, while being just three points behind them. Antonio Conte’s side also trail fourth-place London rivals Tottenham by just two points.

The former champions seem to have hit form of late, recording four consecutive Premier League wins. The Blues have also managed clean sheets in their last three league outings.

Huddersfield are currently three points clear of the relegation zone. However, that could change with relegation rivals Swansea and Southampton meeting on Tuesday night at the Liberty Stadium.

The Terriers recorded a fantastic 0-0 draw at champions Manchester City last time out in the top-flight. However, it was another goalless game for David Wagner’s team. No team has scored fewer goals than the Yorkshire outfit in the top-flight this season.
