On Thursday, England and Belgium go head-to-head in the World Cup, as the two teams look to finish the top of the Group G.
Both teams have already qualified for the knockout stages of the World Cup having recording victories over Tunisia and Panama. The two sides are not only level points, but also the same goal difference and goals for record. England only sits top of the group through a superior disciplinary record.
The Three Lions have been impressive in Russia so far, beating Tunisia 2-1 before trouncing Panama 6-1 in their last game. The game saw Gareth Southgate’s team extend their unbeaten run to 13 games, having recorded eight wins in the process.
The second game of the tournament saw Tottenham striker Harry Kane score a hat-trick to take his goal tally at World Cup 2018 to five.
Like their opponents, Belgium have produced some great stuff in a 3-0 win over Panama and a 5-2 mauling of Tunisia. Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku grabbed a brace in both the games. He will be a major contender to win the Golden Boot at World Cup 2018. However, the former Everton star is a doubt for this clash so may have to wait to add to his goal tally.
