English Championship: Bristol City v Leeds Preview and Prediction

With the fixtures running down in the 2018/19 season every point begins to matter, but games involving those inside the top six can be huge in terms of the momentum that can be built up by the victor.

Both Bristol City and Leeds United will be desperate for the points on offer this weekend and it is the latter who come into this one in better overall form.

However Leeds United have not been at their best away from home and that should give Bristol City their chance to snap their 3 game losing run coming into this fixture.

Both teams should have their chances in front of goal and I do think this is going to be a fixture where we will see three or more goals shared out. 5 of the last 6 at Ashton Gate between these clubs have ended with that number produced and in recent weeks these teams have not looked at their best defensively while continuing to show their teeth going forward.

Tension could play a part in making this a tighter game than expected with the two teams knowing what is on the line, but I think Lee Johnson and Marcelo Bielsa will feel the best way to ease those tensions is by scoring goals. I think that will see the teams playing some nice attacking football which leads to a game with three or more goals shared out.
