English Championship: Millwall v Norwich Preview and Prediction

Date/Time: Saturday 2nd March 2019 (Kick-off 4:00 PM CET). 

This is a very important game at the top and bottom of the Championship table and Norwich City have to show they can handle the pressure of a promotion chase in a difficult Stadium.

Millwall have been struggling for goals at home which is a concern when you face a free-scoring team like Norwich City. They did manage a goal in the 1-3 loss to Preston North End last week, but Millwall had not scored in 3 games in a row at the New Den in the Championship prior to that and I think Norwich City are in the kind of form to exploit that.

After losing to Preston North End too, Norwich City have recovered to beat Bolton Wanderers and Bristol City while scoring three or more goals in those back to back wins.

I think they may have enough in the final third to work their way to a win at a Stadium where Norwich City have only won on 1 of their previous 6 visits and have lost 3 of their last 5. Millwall have been very difficult to beat at times and seem to raise their game against the better teams which means they need to be respected and with that in mind I will recommend backing The Canaries on the Asian Handicap which will return half the stake in the event of a draw.
