English Championship: Sheffield Utd v Brentford Preview and Prediction

On another day Brentford may have been on the wrong side of a 2-1 scoreline at Middlesbrough, but the team continue to put the wins on the board which is taking them back up towards the top six in the Championship table.

There is plenty of time for Brentford to sneak their way into the Play Offs where they would be very dangerous, but keeping the momentum going at Bramall Lane is a big ask.

Sheffield United are creating plenty of chances in recent home games in the League, but more impressive is the strong defensive resolve they have shown. They will have noted the amount of goals Brentford have been conceding on their travels over the last few weeks and I think that is something The Blades can take advantage of in a tough looking fixture.

I am slightly concerned the players could be focusing on a huge Yorkshire derby against Leeds United which is coming up on Saturday, but Chris Wilder will be reminding them the importance of the game will depend on whether they can keep winning these kinds of fixtures.
