On Tuesday night, West Brom host Nottingham Forest at the Hawthorns, in a game that could be vital to the home side’s hopes of promotion to the Premier League.
West Brom are currently fourth place in the Championship table and attempting to stay in touch with the teams in the automatic promotion spots. Ninth-place Nottingham Forest will be hoping to force their way into the play-off positions.
The home side are currently five points behind second place Leeds in the race for automatic promotion. The Baggies league form has been highly inconsistent in recent weeks, as they have won just two of the last six Championship matches.
However, both of those wins have come in their last three matches in the Championship, including a 1-0 win at Stoke in their last league outing.
Top Football BookmakersNottingham Forest have flattered to deceive at times in the second tier this season. The Tricky Trees have lost four of their last six league games to hamper their chances of a play-off spot.
However, the side from the Midlands did record a 2-1 win over Brentford last time out, though, which was their second win in three Championship matches.
Forest have a poor recent away record in the second tier, as they have failed to win in six away matches, while suffering three straight away defeats.
