Playing at the DW Stadium is far from a straight forward task for visitors and this is going to be a very tough game for Middlesbrough.
However if they have serious ambitions of earning automatic promotion to the Premier League, Middlesbrough have to knuckle down and battle for the three points on Saturday.
Wigan Athletic have been hard to beat at home, but all four losses in the League have come against teams that are currently occupying places in the top eight of the table. West Brom are one of the top teams that have been beaten here, but Middlesbrough are in good recent form and they have been strong on their travels all season.
They don't concede too many goals and that means Middlesbrough could secure a result with a single strike. It may also be enough for the three points and I will back Tony Pulis' men to come away with a win by backing them on the Asian Handicap which will return half the stake in the event of a draw.
