Date/Time: Sunday 25th March 2019 (Kick-off 3:00 PM CET).
Reaching the Euro 2016 Semi Final was a huge achievement for Chris Coleman and his Wales team, but there is a feeling that the squad is not quite as strong as it was then. Both Aaron Ramsey and Gareth Bale are available, but the defence is perhaps weakened through age and Wales don't seem to score enough goals these days to try and reach those heights in France three years ago.
This is a tough opening Group game for Wales as they host a Slovakia team coming off a strong 2-0 win over Hungary in the Qualifiers on Match Day 1. However Slovakia have found it tough travelling in the last couple of years and defeats in England and Scotland are a concern albeit both came by narrow margins.
I don't anticipate there being a lot between these teams on Sunday afternoon either and a moment of magic from either side may be enough to determine the winner.
Gareth Bale is the one the Welsh will turn to in order to find that magic moment and I do think he can be the key to the outcome of this fixture. It won't be easy for a Wales team that have not won enough games over the last couple of years, but they may have enough to edge this fixture in my opinion.
