In Game 4 of the NBA Finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers (50-32), who are facing a win-or-go-home situation after losing game 3 at home with a 110-102 score, are hosting once again their rivals for the past four season and the defending champions Golden State Warriors (58-24), who are one win away from their second straight championship, having a 3-0 lead in the series.

Warriors had a 58-24 record in the regular season and finished in the second place of the West. They have won five straight and in their last game they won on the road against the Cavs in game 3 with a 110-102 score. Cavs had a 50-32 record in the regular season and finished in the fourth place of the East. They have lost their last three matches, all in the finals and in their last game they lost at home against the Warriors in game 3 with a 110-102 score.

Warriors are led in scoring by Kevin Durant with 29.4 ppg, adding 7.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists.  He is followed by Steph Curry with 24.7 ppg, 6.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists, while Klay Thompson adds 20.1 ppg. Cavs are led in scoring by LeBron James with 34.5 ppg, adding 9.2 rebounds and a team-best 9 assists. He is followed by Kevin Love with 15 ppg and a team-best 10.3 rebounds per game, while George Hill adds 9.6 ppg.

This will be the 6th meeting between those two teams so far this season, with the Warriors having a perfect 5-0, having won both Cleveland games. In their 21 previous finals games between those two teams, Golden State are leading 14-7. Cavs have a 37-14 home record, while Warriors have a 34-16 road record. Golden State have the best offense in the playoffs with 110.6 ppg to Cavs’ 101.9 and they also have the third-best defense, allowing 101.2 ppg to Cavs’ 102.6 ppg. Warriors have a better percentage both from the field, shooting with 48.1% to Cavs’ 45.6% and from behind the arc, shooting with 35.6% to Cavs’ 33.3%. Warriors also dish more dimes per game (26.1 to 19.1) and grab more boards (45.5 to 41.2), while both teams are almost equal in turnovers per game (12.8 to 13). Cavs are on the ropes but showed that they stand no chance against the defending champions. Expect the Warriors to end the series with a road win tonight.
