On Saturday night, Real Madrid and Liverpool clash in the Champions League final, as the Spanish side look to retain their title of European champions.

These teams are two of the most successful in the history of the European Cup, with Real Madrid lifting the trophy 12 times, while Liverpool have won it five times in its two guises.

The Spanish champions are looking to win the competition for the third season in a row. In fact, if Zinedine Zidane’s side comes out on top in Kiev, then they will have won the Champions League in four of the last five seasons.

Madrid have been prolific in this competition of late, scoring at least two goals in seven of their last eight games in Europe’s elite competition.

Just like their opponents, a key to the Merseysiders run to the final has been scoring goals, as the Reds have scored at least twice in nine of their last ten European outings.

This should be a highly entertaining game, with both sides excellent in attack, but highly vulnerable in defence.
