On Monday night, Wolves host Liverpool at Molineux in the FA Cup third round, in what promises to be one of the most interesting games of the round.

Wolves are enjoying a steady return to the English top-flight this season following promotion. With very little to lose the side from Midlands can afford to go for the victory in this clash. Liverpool needs to respond to a 2-1 defeat last time out against reigning champions Manchester City.

Wolves are currently in midtable in the English top-flight and have pulled off some big results this season, beating Chelsea and Tottenham, while holding Manchester City at Molineux.

Despite their positive record in the Premier League, the home side has a dire recent record in the FA Cup, winning just twice in their last 14 matches. However, one of those victories came against Liverpool back in 2017 at Anfield.
